"Do the work. If you don't pass, we pay the retake fee."
Pass Assurance means VIS pays your ISACA exam registration fee for one retake if you follow the study plan for a VIS CISA or CISM cohort and do not pass the exam on your first attempt. It is not a promise that you will pass. It is our share of the risk when you have done the work.
The conditions
All six conditions apply. We check them against our attendance and coursework records and your official ISACA score report.
- Attend. Attend at least 90% of the live sessions, or watch the recording of any session you miss within 7 days of that session.
- Do the coursework. Complete every assignment and both full-length practice exams.
- Be ready before you book. Score at least 75% on the final practice exam before you book your ISACA exam.
- Sit the exam promptly. Take the exam within 90 days of the last live session of your cohort.
- Tell us the result. Send us your official ISACA score report within 14 days of receiving your result.
- One retake. Pass Assurance pays for one retake per student, of the same exam your cohort prepared you for (CISA or CISM).
What VIS pays
We pay the ISACA exam registration fee for your retake at your membership rate. ISACA's fee is currently US$575 for members and US$760 for non-members (checked 4 November 2026). We buy the retake registration for you or reimburse your receipt.
Pass Assurance does not cover ISACA membership dues, the certification application fee you pay after passing, rescheduling or cancellation fees, a second or later retake, or travel and time off work. ISACA's own rules on retakes and waiting periods apply.
How to claim
- Email your official ISACA score report to info@virtual-infra.com with the subject "Pass Assurance", within 14 days of your result.
- We confirm whether you met the conditions within 5 business days.
- If you did, we arrange the retake registration with you.
Who it applies to
Pass Assurance applies to students in VIS public CISA and CISM cohorts, on both the training-only and all-inclusive packages. Private team cohorts can include it by agreement in the contract. The terms in force on the day you enroll are the ones that apply to you.
Why we can offer it
VIS is an ISACA Accredited Training Organization. Every cohort uses ISACA's official training materials, follows the exam content outline domain by domain and ends with two full practice exams, so you know where you stand before you book. ISACA reports that eight in ten IT professionals who use an ISACA Accredited Training Organization feel more confident.

Pass Assurance Questions
Is Pass Assurance a pass guarantee?
No. Nobody can promise you will pass an ISACA exam. Pass Assurance means that if you meet the study-plan conditions and do not pass on your first attempt, VIS pays the ISACA fee for one retake.
Do I need the all-inclusive package to get Pass Assurance?
No. Pass Assurance applies to both the training-only and the all-inclusive packages in public CISA and CISM cohorts.
How much is a CISA or CISM retake?
Each attempt costs ISACA's full exam registration fee, currently US$575 for ISACA members and US$760 for non-members. Pass Assurance covers that fee for one retake.
What if I fail the retake too?
Pass Assurance pays for one retake per student. Any later attempt is at your own cost, under ISACA's retake rules.
